CSCA Pinewood Derby

Benefitting the American Red Cross

Thursday, July 17, 2008

For the first time since 2001, CSCA is proudly hosting a Pinewood Derby race to benefit the American Red Cross. Like last time we did it, we're inviting all CSCA members, friends, family, and anyone else who wants to buy a kit, carve a car, and place it on the tracks. Last time we did this, it was a highlight of the year. This year we're hoping to have even more fun.

Kits are just $25, and include registration and the basic stuff you need to build a car. You'll also get a cool, custom T-shirt, which will be handed out at the race.

To enter, simply attend the next CSCA general meeting on June 19 at CCAD's Canzani Center, or swing by Resource Interactive and pick one up (ask for Dylan Menges).

Questions? Send an email to derby@cscarts.org.

The competition: Awards will be given for fastest car, most creative design, most unique design, and best race car design.

Sound like fun? It will be – we promise. We hope you'll enter. And remember – it's all for a good cause.
