Meet Local Matters. This Columbus not-for-profit educates children about the joys of eating wholesome, local food and provides opportunities for everyone in the community to buy and sell locally grown food.
It's no easy task. Childhood diabetes and obesity rates are rising rapidly in Franklin County. And even though Ohio is home to over 75,000 farms, many of our neighbors don't have access to fresh produce.
We challenged six design students to help Local Matters raise the funds needed to continue this essential work.
Join us at OSU's Knowlton Hall on Monday, April 19 as we showcase emerging talent and help our friends carry out their delicious mission.
