Be Uncomfortable. Jay Grossen has been around — and he wouldn't have it any other way. He's been a Creative Director, Director of Product Development, Design Instructor, Information Architect, Animator and general purveyor of awesomeness.
By finding new challenges, in new places, with new people, Jay has created an uncomfortable feeling that makes it essential to evolve and adapt as a creative. During each of his stops he's insisted on stretching the definition of "design" by reaching into his vast experiences and looking for solutions that others may overlook.
Jay's work is as eclectic as his background would suggest. He's worked on everything from interactive billboards in Times Square, to mobile game design for teens, to retail displays. His client list includes AT&T, Disney, Planned Parenthood, Citi, MTV, Netscape, Staples, and GE — just to name a few.
Cross-platform design solutions, brand experience and innovation strategy, information architecture, ethnographic research, creative facilitation, client relationship management, team building and direction, and new media management — you name it, Jay does it.
Join CSCA on Thursday, April 21, as Jay discusses how being uncomfortable throughout his career has helped him flex creative muscle and make design evolution his own personal standard.
