Design and develop new and innovative ideas and formats to convey and present the Brand to the customer.

Work with Marketing and Visual Presentation team members to facilitate and implement floor sets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s in Graphic Design or related field
Able to translate marketing strategies into clear, concise and appealing visuals.
Exceptional designer with superb typographic, design and production skills.
Contemporary in the newest, most modern trends in typography, design, photography and color.
A strong eye towards what is next and innovative.
Good verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of all phases and processes of production from design to print and press ready art.
Strong computer skills and fluent in Quark Express, InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator at minimum.
Ability to work and adjust to a fast-paced and changing work environment.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the field of Graphic Design.

Job Summary:
To support the Communications team with general writing, editing, graphic, organization and public relations efforts in an ongoing manner as needed.
To build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Executive Offices staff, Communications team and Vice-President: Communications.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for helping with creating, updating, modifying, laying out and designing graphics for the Fraternity and Foundation including: logos, Web needs, brochures, newsletters, publications, promotional pieces, branding support materials, conference needs, video needs, press releases and chapter histories.
Assist with the planning and implementation of event plans for Delta Gamma events and seminars.
Write various copy, press releases and chapter histories.
Assist with designing communication pieces using various media including PowerPoint, video, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Word.
Assist with some Web site and Facebook updates.
Help with layout and design of various Delta Gamma newsletters.
Assist with various campaigns to collegiate and alumnae members and chapters.
Help with any communications projects that may arise.
Qualifications:
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility and willingness to work with others
Detail oriented and organized
Character traits including resourcefulness, ingenuity, reliability and creativity
Salary:
Internship for course credit only
Flexible work schedule; approximately 10-12 hours per week

Project Manager, Field Planning and Communications
Overview
Plans, prioritizes, and edits all formats of communication from the home office to the field organization (i.e., stores and regional/district managers) to maximize efficiency through clear, consistent and accurate information. Effectively works to identify operational and procedural risks and ensures timely resolution of all issues. Assists with influencing and governing the execution of store-level and field leadership activities to ensure results that drive profitable sales. Influences developing and educating others on the field communication strategy. Manages special projects as needed by working cross-functionally with all levels of home office and field leadership to implement process improvements and communication campaigns.
Responsibilities
Proactively consult with cross-functional partners to align on proposed in-store activities and the communications strategy for those activities.
Assist field leadership in balancing workload and properly plan, schedule, and execute all marketing, merchandising and operational activities in order to meet desired business objectives.
Influence store-level and field leadership activities to create and socialize home office / field calendars.
Partner with other areas of the business at all levels of management to develop communication strategies including determining the best timing and method of communications.
Support the development and delivery of all written and verbal communications to the field, including (but not limited to) the following:
Store Mail Messaging (electronic)
Field Leadership / Regional and District Managers (email and voicemail)
Intranet (electronic)
Octels (store voicemail)
Memos (hardcopy)
Support the production of informational and educational documents by reviewing content and using communications expertise to fact-check, edit or re-write (as appropriate), while ensuring the content is clear, concise and consistent with style guidelines in tone and format.
Educate business partners on field communications processes, including the use of style guidelines, established lead times and success measures, through informal coaching and/or formal training.
Develop and maintain content on field leadership intranet site.
Spend 50% of time on managing medium- to large-scale initiatives impacting the field by developing business cases, time lines and communications (e.g., support for new marketing campaigns, innovating with new approaches to tools and technology) that increase knowledge of associates and associate retention.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred in journalism, communications, marketing, advertising or public relations.
2 3 years project management experience preferred with a flexible approach to shifting priorities of multiple projects.
Basic graphic / web design software knowledge (including basic HTML) desired.
3 5 years retail management experience or knowledge of retail operations desired.
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Excellent written / verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills.
Ability to quickly build strong business relationships in a highly cross-functional, fast-paced culture through collaboration, inclusion, professionalism and humor.
Ability to think strategically and operationally.
Strong attention to detail.
